Google + Arcade Fire + HTML5 = Awesomesauce
Google, Chris Milk and Arcade Fire have collaborated to create a gorgeous, interactive film that features your own home or any place you like. You're asked to enter the address of where you grew up, but any address will do. We entered the studio address. Basically, Google will then grab satellite images and Street View images from the area surrounding this address and implement them seamlessly into the film. All this happens while Arcade Fire pumps happiness through your earholes and directly into your soul.To view this experience, you need to download Google Chrome if you don't have it already. I personally use it every day as my main browser. Once you have Chrome open, simply go to this address:
The film will open multiple windows, so don't freak out and start trying to close pop-ups. It's supposed to happen.
