WWDC 2010 : Steve Jobs' Keynote
That's right, it's that time again. You know, the time when Steve Jobs gets on stage in his jeans and black turtleneck, shows us what sexy new product lines Apple has created and then thoroughly explains why every single one of us need them....and we do. Or at least I do.
There is a lot of speculation about all the announcements today, but one thing everyone is 99.999% sure of is the announcement of the new iPhone. Remember when all the stuff hit the fan a few months back? An Apple employee lost an iPhone 4 prototype in a bar. Some random guy finds it and takes it home. Once he realizes it's not like any other iPhone currently on the market, what does he do? Logically, he sells it for $5,000 to Gizmodo who immediately does a write up on the new iPhone including disassembling it.
Apple is not amused and apparently banned Gizmodo from attending WWDC this year. Bummer.
But, another great tech blog wasn't banned -- Engadget.
They will be live blogging throughout Jobs' entire keynote complete with photos. If you're interested in getting the down low on all the new Apple products, this is your ticket.
Keynote starts at 1PM Eastern Time or 10PM Pacific.
