Presenting photos to clients

Hi, we recently started using Animoto and their videos are amazing! However we are a really new studio, and we know that a lot of photographers use Proselect along with Animoto for client viewing sessions. I was wondering how all of you photographers out there use both of these together to present to clients during the viewing session? Do you use one before the other?

I LOVE Animoto, as you can probably guess. I also love ProSelect, it's an amazing app.

We do not show Animoto movies at the ordering appointment. I am not saying it's not a good idea, just a little impractical in our case. I would love to hear how others are doing this. Maybe I will adopt it for our studio.

We just started doing Animoto and did our first viewing session the other day using the Animoto movie for our client, because we don't have ProSelect yet. But since we made the movie, our client posted it on facebook and all of a sudden our contact form exploded with people interested in a shoot! Everyone loved the video- I had no idea Animoto would do that for us, but I am very grateful! In the future, maybe we will show the Animoto video first for the experience, and then use ProSelect afterwards to choose the photos/sizes. Although we may change our minds once we get more clients and figure out what works/doesn't work for us. thanks for your insight, I was wondering how you all used both programs.

Our studio uses animoto for purchasing sessions also. It's the 1st product we show them plus we always have it already printed on a DVD for them (we also use iDVD to make the finished slideshow) so they have a product that they can go out the door with that day...clients love it!

We just started using Animoto after IUSA. Love it. Our clients think it it cool. We show the Animoto slideshow at the beginning of our Ordering Session and then switch to ProSelect to sort and show our design ideas. Our clients want the slideshow. We gift it to those meeting our desired minimum order. I have shared a couple of slideshows on FB and tagged our clients and I've used them on our blog for a Senior Promo. The only thing I don't like, is that anyone can get their hands on it.
