Star Wars in Concert!!!!!!!
I saw this advertised on public television during a funding drive. AMAZING!! A full orchestral show with giant HD screens playing segments from all six films. I bought their package so my bride and I will be able to get into the show an hour early to see the traveling exhibit. I am so geeked about this.

Star Wars In Concert is a unique multi-media event featuring music from all six of John Williams' epic Star Wars scores. It is narrated by Anthony Daniels. The show is produced by Another Planet Touring in conjunction with Lucasfilm and John Williams himself. The first two performances were staged at the O2 arena in London in April of 2009. A massive world tour kicks off in the U.S. on October 1st at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.

I have never been 'into' starwars. I tried to watch a movie at an anniversary screening and fell asleep out of pure boredom. My son (6) is currently obsessed with star wars and I might scream outloud if i hear him humm the theme song one. more. time. But. I would probably enjoy this. It looks awesome! It probably won't make it to Aust. but it does look fantastic. Such a great concept. Hope you have heaps of fun!
I'm new & this is my virgin post, but you just can't pass on Star Wars! If any of you ever get the chance (& by that I mean if ever within 100 miles), run, don't walk to see Charles Ross' One Man Star Wars show. You won't regret it!

This is so cool. I would love to go. I'm surprised to see that there won't be a performance in Northern California... the closest would be Fresno, hmmm, maybe a road trip or better yet pick a destination and take a mini vacation.
